A Blend of Golden Sour Beers Aged in Oak Barrels With Deconstructed Peach Cobbler.
It started with a simple craving. Things got complicated very quickly. Our mixed yeast and bacteria cultures really enjoy gobbling up sugars and producing alcohol and carbon dioxide, leaving the finished beer quite dry and un-sweet. It was a challenge to lend dessert-like qualities to this beverage, but through skilled use of ingredients like pureed peach, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, almond and pectin, we’ve managed to create a beer worthy of being served in that coveted after-dinner timeslot.
