A Golden Sour Beer Aged in Oak Barrels with Second Use Wild Blueberries
Wild Blue Yonder was a golden sour beer that we aged on wild blueberries in 2018. When the beer was finished, some of the spent blueberries were donated to be made into jam, some found their way into sausage, and some even became ice cream. The last remaining berries were added to two wine barrels with a golden sour beer and left to age for 9 months. The resulting beer bears the memory of its former self.
