We love dry hopped sours and we like to try to have one available at all times. This summer, we thought it would be fun to do a limited run of four barrel aged sours using the same base beer, but highlighting a different hop in each one. Hops have aromas that range from piney and resinous to floral and citrusy and we thought it would be fun to try and pair a delicate touch of fruit or spice with each one to complement their aromatic traits.
Oh and we also wanted to make fun critters for the labels!
Pamplisson is a golden sour beer aged in oak barrels with chinook hops and grapefruit zest.
Columbiander is a golden sour beer aged in oak barrels with columbia hops and coriander.
Sabroconaut is a golden sour beer aged in oak barrels with sabro hops and coconut.
Sprucelotl is golden sour beer aged in oak barrels with columbus hops and spruce tips.
