An Imperial Dessert Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Sea Salt and Caramel.
The Briny Deep is home to many tentacled horrors. Do not swim there. Our friends at 2 Crows in Halifax sourced some local hand-harvested sea salt from OK Sea Salt for this salted caramel dessert stout. The brew day(s) incorporated a 26 hour boil which resulted in a lot of caramelized sugars reminiscent of a toffee filled chocolate bar. The sea salt lends a soft dimension to the rich flavour.
